A note from THE YOUTH PASTOR to parents

At Maple Grove we continue to reach the unchurched youth of our community. Sometimes this comes with difficulties and hardships and at times it brings some rough teenagers to our church but Christ was clear that we should make disciples of nations even those who we would normally stay away from and at MGBC that's what we are doing.  We have affectionately taken on the label of the Island of Misfit Toys because all toys (youth) are welcome here no matter how perfect or broken, each toy receives the example of Christ's love and grace when they walk through our doors.

Finally, I want to encourage you, you have a tough and rewarding job as the parent of a teenager and God has given you the tools and strength to see success if only you lean on Him and each other.  I am here for you, and so are those in the church who have "been there and done that" and we are all here to help and encourage you as you seek to raise a child in a world that might not have your values.  Please feel free to contact me or any of the MGBC ministry team when you are in need.

Prayers and Blessings,

Maple Grove

Parents are the key to a student's success in life and in their personal walk with Christ. This is why whether your a grandparent, aunt or uncle, single parent, or an adoptive parent we want to partner with you to encourage and equip you with the tools and support you need to impact your teenager for the glory of the kingdom. On this page you will find articles, suggested books, and other forms of support to help with those tough teen years.  Also, you will find the lessons we are covering on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings to help you get past the "I don't know what we talked about at church" answers and continue the conversation even at home.
